UDA CAMP 

July 16 - July 19, Western Michigan University 

The girls did an amazing job at camp this summer. Here are some of the highlights from UDA Pom Camp.

Home Routine: "Celebrate" - 1st Place, JV Pom Division

UDA Camp Routines

Each member on the team learned 3 separate routines at camp, whether it be Pom, Jazz, Kickline, or Hip Hop. The girls then performed the routines in front of the UDA Staff members and were evaluated based on knowledge and showmanship. Based on their performance, the girls were given a white, red, or blue ribbon - blue being the highest. The team worked hard and were award a Blue Ribbon for every performance which is rare for a Junior Varsity team. Being that we earned all blue ribbons we also recieved an invitation to UDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida.

UDA All American

At camp we are able to send 6 members to audition for UDA All American. If the girls are chosen they are able to walk in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We had 5 girls interested in auditioning: Carolyn, Jordyn, Shelby, Sarah, and Marisa. The girls did an amazing job and really showcased the talent of our team. Both Marisa and Sarah were given the All American Award. Congratulations to both of them!

Play it Forward

At camp the UDA Staff passes out a "Play it Forward" pin. This is given to a girl who they notice as someone who is pushing through the long camp days and giving each and every class 110%. Miss Kara was given a "Play it Forward" pin duing our team technique class. This is a great achievement as she was noticed among hundreds of girls. Congratulations Kara!
